| Cincinnati, August 11, 1873 M. Loth, Esq. President of K.K.B.Y. Dear Sir Having accepted a call of the Congregation Anshe Hesed of New York, although with deep regrets: and after a long and prayerful struggle, I must hereby tender my Resignation to K.K. Benai Yeshurun, to take effect on the twenty sixth day of September 1873. I will at once confess, that I love the Congregation, with whom I must part, but circumstances are of such a nature, that I think it is for the best of Israel and the Congregation Benai Yeshurun especially, that such a change take place. My attachment to the Congregation Benai Yeshurun will not decrease by distance of locality, and I beg leave to consider you personally, Dear Sir, and all Members of the Congregation, personal friend forever Yours Isaac M.
