Biographical SketchIgnatz Roth (1869-1933) was born in Romania. He was a New York City rabbi who was the religious supervisor for the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society from 1925-1933. He emigrated to the United States in 1923 to serve in a Shomrei Hadath Congregation in Cleveland, Ohio. Scope and Content NoteMiscellaneous correspondence, journal entries and notes on religious issues by Ignatz Roth, during his tenure as the religious supervisor for the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.
