Support the AJA With a Financial Donation
The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives preserves and protects the historical record of American Jewry. We need your generous support to ensure that the historical voice of the American Jew is preserved for future generations. Your gifts will be acknowledged formally (for tax purposes) by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) as well as by the American Jewish Archives. You will receive the American Jewish Archives Journal, our informational mailings, and access to our world premier collection on American Jewish history.
If you are interested in donating archival material, please visit our webpage on donating archival material.
Your online contribution will be processed through the HUC-JIR donation website. You have the option to contribute specifically to one of the AJA's established funds (see below). Please note the name of the fund in the "Comments" field while making your online donation.
The AJA Fellowship Program
The Fellowship Program, which was established in 1977 by the late Dr. Jacob Rader Marcus, provides recipients—graduate students, scholars, and practitioners—with a stipend for research and writing related to the history of North American Jewry.
The AJAJ, published twice yearly, is the primary publication of The Marcus Center. The AJAJ documents and preserves the American Jewish experience through the publication of scholarly articles and primary documents written by academic and talented amateur historians from around the world.
The American Jewish Archives General Fund
The general fund is used in support of the overall operation of The Marcus Center including direct expenses of preserving and expanding its collection, financing programs as well as maintaining the facility.
